If you have seen Michael Winterbottom’s The Trip starring the underrated Steve Coogan and the hilarious Rob Brydon on a trip to the English countryside tasting food at the finest restaurants then you know that the film had nothing to do with food. It was a bromance road trip movie with the leads taking pot shots at each other and at the same time improvising their lines by impersonating famous people.
This time around both the comics travel to cities in Italy starting from Liguria, Tuscany, Rome, Amalfi and ending in Capri where they will share similar banter like they did the first time around and get ready for a lot more improvised impersonations.
