For some odd reason one of the best reviewed movies on Rotten Tomatoes for 2014 is The Guest with a whopping 93% and it stars that hot, brooding, charismatic guy from Downton Abbey Dan Stevens. But that should have been expected mainly because the writer – director team were responsible for last years You’re Next which was a brilliant mash up of extremely dark humor and gore with a genre twist not seen before.
The trailer for The Guest looks like a throwback to the 80’s action film genre and the only thing missing from it is Steven Seagal and his ponytail.
We are still intrigued mainly because of the critics consensus on it and will give it go when it comes out in the UAE on Oct 9th.
