It takes the combined efforts of Michael Bay (no introduction needed) and Jonathan Liebesman (director, Wrath of the Titans) to create a movie that is as appalling as this new Turtles movie looks. Is the worst part the rewritten origin story, (April O’Neil’s father and Shredder are the creators of the Turtles)? Or just how fiendish the Turtles look? Or the complete mismatch of the Turtles’ usual humourous tone with the dark/gritty visuals? Or just that… Megan Fox is April O’Neil?!
Shredder? More like, Shudder!
