With four solid releases in the same week, you can’t go wrong with any of the choices. This weekend we have the 5th Mission: Impossible installment, an original Pixar film, a throwback thriller, and a Sundance hit. All of them boast stellar reviews, so catch all four in seven days!


Mission: Impossible – Rouge Nation

Heads Up: In this 5th Mission: Impossible, Ethan Hunt and associates take on their most impossible mission yet, eradicating the Syndicate – an International rogue organization as highly skilled as they are, committed to destroying the IMF. This 19-years old franchise has managed to achieve the impossible; getting bigger yet better acclaim with each new installment, so don’t miss it!!


Inside Out

Heads Up: The latest and original Pixar film from Pete Docter, the director of Up, is the story of Riley, a 12 years old girl who is after uprooted from her Midwest life and moved to San Francisco, her emotions – Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness – conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school. Lloyd Bayer in his 5-star review highly recommends the movie: “Welcome to Inside Out, a remarkable animation that is as original and clever as it is compelling and poignant. Simply put, another masterpiece from Pixar/Disney’s library of outstanding animations”. So yeah, of course you should go see it!

Heads Up:  In this mystery suspense film, a young married couple receives a mysterious gift that throws their lives into a harrowing tailspin. Actor Joel Edgerton first feature film as a director is receiving a lot of love from reviewers, praised as a smart, playful, and supervise suspense. So check it out!


Cop Car

With: Kevin Bacon, James Freedson-Jackson and Hays Wellford

Heads Up:  A small town sheriff sets out to find the two kids who have taken his car on a joy ride. This is a throwback thriller that paying homage to 70’s and 80’s thrillers, with Kevin Bacon playing the bad guy, which is always delightful. Make time for this one before it leaves theaters considering it was a Sundance success and the director has been hired (on the strength of this movie) to make the next Spider-Man film!
