Will Philip Seymour Hoffman win a posthumous Oscar? He does have a couple of films which could land him that Oscar, one of them is from director Anton Corbijn who made the very moody yet dry The American starring George Clooney. This one though is based on a novel by John le Carré who is known for his excellent spy thriller novels  like The Tailor of Panama, The Constant Gardener and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. Corbijn has managed to get a commendable cast in front of the camera as well with Robin Wright, PSH, Rachel McAdams, Willem Dafoe and the breakout star of Rush Daniel Brühl
