Just because Oscar Isaac did not get his due for the masterful job he did with Inside Llewyn Davis, he has decided to come back with a vengeance. He teams up with another master in the making J. C. Chandor who is only 2 films old but has proven that he belongs in the race for the long run. And if that wasn’t enough Jessica Chastain and Albert Brooks join the party titled A Most Violent Year.
Set in 1981 New York City which apparently was one of the most violent years in the city’s history. The thriller looks at an immigrant family who wants to expand their business and use the violence to their best advantage.
The trailer does not give much away but does show that we should tighten our seatbelt coz its going be a violent ride.
