Brad Bird’s transition from animated movies to live action has been smooth and he has not put a foot wrong. His animated creations started with the masterful Iron Giant followed by The Incredibles and Ratatouille. He then went on a mission that was self destructing and gave a dying franchise a lot of air to breathe. He transformed the Mission Impossible franchise and made Tom Cruise more human.
He now returns to a story inspired by a box of old artifacts from the Disney archives. A mystery adventure with George Clooney as a genius who discovers an alternate dimension in time and space along with Britt Robertson from Under the Dome as a teen who is curious to learn more and not afraid to take the leap of faith.
Lost writer Damon Lindelof helps out Brad Bird with the screenplay and story and they promise a non stop adventure through new dimensions.
