Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper are out to prove that Silver Linings Playbook was not a fluke. They get the help of Danish director Suzanne Bier best known for her Academy Award nominated film After the Wedding and Academy Award winner In a Better World. She tries her hand with her second English language feature after the disastrous Things We Lost in the Fire.
The film is based on a novel set in the depression era where a couples ambitions are tested when the wife can’t bear children. Sounds hokey but in Jennifer Lawrence we trust. She make the most mediocre fares interesting and yes I’m talking about the Hunger Games.
