Tarsem Singh’s name used to be synonymous with art house visually stunning films like The Cell and The Fall. Unfortunately they didn’t make any money and he had to turn to being a director for hire. Since The Fall he has done the painful Immortals and equally horrible Mirror Mirror.
Tarsem is back with a smaller film which does not include a lot of VFX but is still high concept and he has Ben Kingsley and Ryan Reynolds in the mix. The trailer does give away the whole plot so tread carefully.
