Jason Reitman started his career with Thank You for Smoking followed by Juno, Up in the Air, Young Adult and Labor Day. All his films have received critical acclaim except Labor Day which went completely unnoticed even though it had bankable stars.
His new one also seems to have attracted a string of decent actors including Adam Sandler, Emma Thompson, Jeniffer Garner, Rosemarie DeWitt, J. K. Simmons, Dennis Haysbert and a host of young stars.
Based on a book Men, Women and Children tells the stories of teens, their parents, and the influence of internet/social media in altering all relationships that existed in the past. Sounds pretty heavy on a dealing with social issues but the invent of phones, tablets, technology in general has affected all our lives. Lets see how cool and hip Mr. Reitman can make this problem look.
