I wonder how Woody Allen manages to churns out films year on year at the age of 79. I’m not complaining but just amazed at the persons dedication to cinema. He has always been a hit or miss director but when he gets it right he hits them out of the park. Match Point, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Midnight in Paris, Blue Jasmine are only a few of his films which have hit the mark in recent times.
This time he visits the French Riviera for a film set in the 1920’s starring the effervescent and adorable Emma Stone and Colin Firth. A romantic comedy about an Englishman whose profession is to expose con artists and he stumbles upon Emma Stone who is possibly tricking people or is she? Obviously they will eventually fall in love but I would like to witness the journey.
