There was a time when you saw the name of Luc Besson attached to a film and you would blindly buy that ticket. Leon the Professional, The Fifth Element, La Femme Nikita come to mind but unfortunately his brand name has diminished considerably since.
He is back with a film which he writes and directs and manages to get one of the hottest female leads in Hollywood currently. The films looks like a mash up of Crank, Limitless, X-Men and countless other films but I love the casting of Scarlett Johansson as the title character. Hopefully Luc Besson revives his name and directing career.
