William Shakespeare’s most powerful and influential tragedies Hamlet gets a Bollywood treatment from the director who retold the Shakespearean tales of Othello and Macbeth with the brilliant Omkara and Maqbool.
Vishal Bhardwaj reteams with actors he has worked in the past with including Shahid Kapoor, Tabu, and Irfan Khan. The wild card here is Shraddha Kapoor who is a rookie to the industry and does not really stack up to the acting prowess of the other actors.
The trailer looks intense with Shahid Kapoor going over the top at times, but in Bhardwaj we trust and this is bumped up to the must see films of the year.
